In reality that there are many over the counter (OTC) are available for us, it can be fatal for cats. Please before administering anything without on your own with consulting with your veterinarian. Here some of the common conditions:

1. Tylanol (Acetoaminophn) causes liver damage

2. Asprin causes live damage (However it used by Cardiologists)

3. Advil, Iboprohin, Alive, Nepraxon, Alive

3. Head & Shoulder Shampoo causes blindness in cats

4. Mineral Oil (It is contraindicated in cats)

5. Do Not treat the cat on your own, call for Doctor’s consultation.

Cat Grass, House Plants, Candy

There is a misconception that cats love to eat grass. If a cat had hair ball and the cat experienced eating grass, the cat will try to chew or eat grass that irritate their esophagus then they can vomit. There is a list of house hold plants can be toxic to your cat and it may require emergency veterinary care.

Milk (Whole or Low fat), Ice Cream, Candy and Chocolate (Chocolate poisoning), are not appropriate for the cats digestive tract.

Onion (wild and domestic) is poisonous for small animals. Garlic is inappropriate to control fleas in cats. For cat’s nutritional need, please feel free to discuss any questions you have with our doctors
